I got up early enough to walk over to the gym, work out a little there, and return home. Then, before breakfast, I went out again, taking the cardboard to recycle and buying challah and candy for Shabbat.
I taught 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-10:30 and 10:30-12:00.
We ate lunch at Il Pentolino today, having our now-traditional dishes there.
This afternoon I spent some time checking out the "Practice Room" that Berlitz created for each of us teachers to learn Adobe Connect, the new platform that we will soon be using to deliver our lessons. It will take a little getting used to, but, overall, it will be an improvement, I think, over our current platform, AT&T Connect.
This evening we lit candles, drank a bit of sweet red wine, and ate challah to welcome Shabbat.
