Even though I went to bed about 3 hours late last night, I only got up about a half-hour late and still went out for a full-length walk this morning. I even walked up the stairs when I got back instead of taking the elevator!
I filled the car with gas, got it washed (badly needed!), and did the weekly grocery shopping this morning at Shufersal.
I checked out a couple of new stores near the tourist area (Big Outlet and Poza). Each is in its own, new building. I wasn't really very impressed, although Big Outlet might possibly be a good place to get shoes if I ever need any new ones (somewhat doubtful, at least for a long time). Then I went to lunch at Togarashi, at Mercaz Big.
In the evening, after the sun went behind the mountains, I walked over to the green strip and sat on the bench there for a while, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and taking advantage of the 4G coverage there to read a long article about the history of Shi'a anti-Semitism. Then I walked up the green strip to Harim Road and walked back down our street to get home. It was very pleasant.
