I slept quite well again last night and got up at a decent hour. I still didn't feel quite up to going out for a walk, though.
This morning I took the car in to the mechanic (the authorized Fiat garage here in Eilat) and they quickly verified that the problem was, indeed, the battery. They checked and found that today was the LAST day of the warranty, so I paid absolutely nothing for the new battery. How cool is that!
We got the car a much-needed bath today, and then went to lunch at Greg.
In the afternoon, I went to the Maccabi pharmacy for our monthly supply of medicines and then continue on to Shufersal to do the weekly grocery shopping.
In the late afternoon, as the sun was setting, we took a lovely drive around the short loop in the reverse direction. Just as we were coming to the Uvda airport, I saw a passenger jet landing there. When I got a little closer, I could see that there was already another one that had landed shortly before and was taxiing back to the terminal. This is the first time I have EVER seen ANY moving planes there!
