Thursday, 26 September 2013 (Simchat Torah in Israel)

I again got up fairly early and got in another excellent work-out at the gym.

This morning it was fairly cool out. I left the windows of the apartment open until nearly noon. I also took advantage of the cooler weather to do some cleaning on the balcony. I was particularly concerned about the dirt from a pot that the cats had knocked down months ago and about cat litter outside their boxes. If it had rained, there would have been a really bad mess out there. Now, it shouldn't be a problem.

I spent most of the day working on my project for my Survey of Music Technology class. I think it's just about done now, and it's sounding pretty good. It uses plenty of recorded sounds, but for this project all the process of putting them in the right place and adding and controlling the special effects must be done in the Python programming language, NOT by editing in REAPER, the digital audio workstation. It's challenging but fun!

We drove up to Yahel for lunch at the Kakao restaurant there today. The weather was very nice, with a good breeze, so we ate outside, which was wonderful. David had pizza, and I had French Toast Tel Aviv.

In the evening, we drove over to Ice Park and had frozen yogurt.
