Tuesday, 3 September 2013

Another unfortunate confusion incident around midnight had me awake last night for a couple of hours. So, I got up late this morning and didn't get out for any exercise at all.

I had 9 units of Berlitz today, but 2 of those were a no-show student and 2 others were a late cancellation: 9:00-9:45 (actually training in the new Adobe platform), 11:00-12:30, 2:30-4:00 (the no-show), 4:00-5:30, and 5:30-7:00 (the late cancellation).

Today, I picked up the package from the post office that contained my new watch. I had to visit another office that is only open from 11:30-1:30 in order to avoid having to pay customs on it (because we live in Eilat, which is a duty-free zone!). The watch is a Pebble watch that interfaces with my iPhone via Bluetooth. That way, I can see who's calling, get SMS messages, get other notifications, and load new apps especially made for the Pebble. Also, there are many different watch faces available, both old-fashioned clocks and all sorts of digital arrangements. I had a little trouble getting it working properly at first, but now everything's fine, and it's really a pretty cool toy!

We ate beans and weenies (vegetarian, of course!) for lunch at home today.

Because of the late cancellation of my last lesson, we had time to go over to Ice Park and get ourselves frozen yogurt. This was particularly nice for David, since he hadn't yet even been out of the house today before that.
