I woke up very early this morning and got out of bed fairly early, too. I walked over to the highway 12 kikar and back, and it seemed like a rather long walk. I'm afraid I'm getting quite out of shape! Later, I walked down to recycle cardboard and buy challah for Shabbat.
I taught 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 10:30-12:00 and 12:00-1:30. After that, I took David to a routine appointment with his psychiatrist at 2:00, and then we had lunch at Il Pentolino. I had my usual dish there (whole-wheat spaghetti with Palermo sauce), but David got adventurous and had spaghetti with Firenze sauce. Both were delicious, though!
In the evening, we made Shabbat by lighting candles, sipping sweet red wine, and eating challah.
