Friday, 17 October 2014

I slept quite well last night but woke up a bit late, so I only walked down to recycle the cardboard and buy challah before breakfast.

I taught 5 units of Berlitz lesson today: 9:00-9:45, 10:00-11:30, and 11:30-1:00. The second one was an individual student in Thailand, but we really weren't able to have any lesson at all because her internet connection was so excruciatingly slow. And she works for Shell!

For lunch, we went to Greg Café at Mercaz Big and split a "country salad".

In the afternoon, I watched another lecture from my Swift/iOS programming class.

As the sunlight was about to fade from our beautiful valley, we lit candles, drank wine, and ate challah to welcome the Shabbat queen.

לך דודי לקראת כלה
פני שבת נקבלה
L'cha dodi likrat kalah
P'nei Shabat n'kabalah

"Come my beloved to call the Bride,
We will welcome Shabbat"
