Shabbat, 14 November 2015

I slept very well last night but had a little trouble dragging myself out of bed in the morning. Nevertheless, I went out a bit late for a lovely morning walk.

In the late morning, I watched the BCC (Beth Chayim Chadashim) service from last night and enjoyed it very much.

Before lunch I took a short nap with the warm sun shining on my body through the open bedroom window. It felt wonderful.

I had a cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch at home today.

Between about 3:00 and 4:30, I drove up on highway 12 to Nakhal Shlomo, parked the car just off the road, and walked to the end of the nakhal. It was very nice out, and I felt comfortable wearing just socks and shoes, short pants, and a tank top. Part of the walk was in the sun, but mostly I was in the shade.

In the early evening, I talked with Joyce, David's sister in Ohio.
