Thursday, 5 November 2015

I woke up early this morning but didn't feel really good. Also, there was still obviously a lot of dust in the air, so I decided NOT to get up and go for a walk and, instead, lay in bed for about another hour. Pascal (my cat) appreciated the attention that he got as a result. LOL

Today was a VERY long day -- I taught 12 units (NINE hours!) of Berlitz lessons: 9:00-10:30, 10:30-12:00, 12:00-1:30, 3:00-4:30, 5:00-6:30, and 6:30-8:00.

I ate a simple cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch at home today. After lunch, I continued sorting my books into ones I'll keep and ones I'll give away.

In the afternoon, we got a bit of welcome rain. I had all the windows in the house open most of the day today, including during the rain, and yet I was comfortable sitting shirtless at my desk. Beautiful weather!

On this day 121 years ago, in 1894, my dad, Benton Wareham, was born in Ft. Benton, Montana, a town on the banks of the Missouri River. I have visited there twice, the first time with my family (including my dad) when I was a kid, and the the second time with David, in 2002.
