Having gotten to bed after midnight last night, I still managed to get up fairly early this morning, and I went for a nice, long walk. I took Sheshet HaYamim over to Shakhamon, walked up Ein Yahav, the street I used to live on, and returned on Harim Road, even stopping to work out briefly at the outdoor gym before returning home. I took a number of nice pictures along the way, including this panoramic view of the highway 12 kikar, the west entrance to town:
I very much enjoyed a visit with a friend this morning.
For lunch, I had my usual eggs and rice. I also ate a couple of tomato sandwiches.
In the afternoon, I talked with David's sister in Ohio.
In the evening, I walked down to the Eilat Biennale and enjoyed it a lot. It was held outdoors in the plaza by the Eilat Museum (and in it, as well), and many local artists, including my friend David Bar-Chai, were exhibiting their works. There were also food and a group playing laid-back, relaxing music. The attendance and atmosphere were good, and the weather was just perfect. It happens again tomorrow night, as well.
I walked a total of 10.59 kilometers today.
