Friday, 20 June 2014

I woke up and got up early this morning, but I only walked to the highway 12 kikar and back for two reasons: it was quite warm out, and I needed to walk down and recycle the cardboard and buy challah later (which I did, of course).

I taught only 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-10:30 and 11:45-1:15.

We ate lunch at Il Pentolino. I had my usual dish, but David had fried mushrooms and a nice pizza.

In the afternoon, I began work on my project for this week for Principle of Computing. It was quite difficult. For a while I couldn't figure out what wasn't working until I discovered that I had missed a crucial step. I fixed it quickly, and now phases 1 and 2 are finished. Tomorrow I'll work on the 3rd and final phase, implementing other strategies.

In the evening, we lit candles, sipped sweet red wine (from a new bottle, which is quite a bit better than the old one!), and ate challah to welcome Shabbat.
