Tuesday, 17 June 2014

I got up early and felt great this morning! I walked to the gym and back easily, comfortably, and happily.

I watched all this week's lecture videos for my class, Principles of Computing, which just became available today.

I really enjoyed chatting with the folks (okay, really I only chatted with the ladies) at this morning's weekly WIZO meeting.

For lunch, David and I went to Rachel, a restaurant near the hospital that somebody mentioned at WIZO today. David had a nice pasta dish, and I enjoyed a great salad with wonderful bread. I think we'll go there again.

I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 2:30-4:00, 4:15-5:45, and 6:15-7:45.

David attended a meeting that is the first of a series about integrating people with various handicaps into the community in more effective ways. It's all in Hebrew, and I couldn't take him because of my teaching, so the social worker sent a cab to pick him up. I was able to go down with him and make sure he got safely into the taxi. He just arrived back home, safe and sound, as I was finishing writing this!
