I woke up early this morning, got up, and went for a nice walk around the big loop, stopping at the bakery on the way back to buy challah for Shabbat. I took several photos along the way, including today's pic of the day, the just-risen sun shining on the hills on the other side of Nakhal Garuf, as seen from one of the pergolas along the Nakhal Garuf Promenade:
I taught 3 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-9:45 and 10:00-11:30.
I took the trash and recycling out before lunch, ate shnitzel and salad, and did the rest of the weekly chores in the afternoon.
I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing, playing games, and watching YouTube videos on my iPad and American sitcoms on TV.
As the light was about to fade from our lovely valley, I lit candles, drank a little sweet red wine, and ate challah to welcome Shabbat.
In the evening, I went for a walk downtown and back again.
I walked a total of 10.2 kilometers today.
