The Rosh HaShana feast at our friends' house was wonderful, both the food and the company. Prayers both Sunday evening and Monday morning were inspirational and thought-provoking. All in all, it was a great experience.
This morning we both woke up very early. We ate breakfast at Aroma in Nahariya, took one more drive up to Rosh HaNikra (taking a little peak at Lebanon), and then headed south.
Our friend, Moshe, here in Eilat had bought an electric piano, but it was still unassembled and at his parents' house in Netanya. So we had agreed to pick it up and bring it back with us. Therefore, instead of going on highway 70 through Yokneam, we went through the krayot and the Carmel Tunnels and then went south on highway 2. After meeting his lovely parents and loading the instrument into our car (it barely fit!), we continue south on highway 2 and took highway 5 over to highway 6. From there we continued home on highways 40 and 12, arriving here just before 3:00.
One final note: besides a LOT of Israel, today we saw Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. The only neighbor of Israel that we did NOT see was Syria.
