This morning I got up quite early and decided to walk in Nakhal Shlomo. I drove up to the place just before the highway leaves the nakhal, parked the car, and basically walked to the north end of the canyon. When I parked, it was still mostly dark, with some moonlight and the earliest glimmers of dawn. But it rapidly got lighter as I walked. It was really beautiful in the canyon and the perfect way to start a lovely Shabbat day.
Today, we drove up to Nahariya after eating a slightly early lunch at Greg's in the Ice Park Mall. It was really a lovely drive, as it always is when crossing the stunningly beautiful Negev Desert.
We're so thankful to our friends, the Loberants, for letting us stay with them tonight so that we can get to David's appointment at Rambam first thing in the morning. After that, we'll drive back home tomorrow.
