I got up and out of here for a good walk this morning. There was quite a strong breeze, making it feel almost chilly out (but, of course, I wasn't even wearing a shirt!). Fluffy, Mielo, and Torty were all waiting for me today and had to have their respective walks with me.
I had only 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-10:30 and 5:00-6:30, but the evening lesson turned out to be a no-show.
We ate lunch at Il Pentolino today. David had his usual, penne with Roquefort sauce, and I tried another meal I had never had before: a hot bagel, very soft cream cheese, avocado "salad" (somewhat like guacamole, but not quite), and egg salad. It was good, but seemed a little imbalanced.
They got us in to see the diabetes doctor, Dr. Baker, today, so that he could get the process moving for David to get the new pump to which he is entitled. The appointment was at 4:00, but they had some technical troubles (it's a video conference -- the doctor is in Tel Aviv), so we didn't get started until 10 or 15 minutes late. Still, we managed to finish and get home in plenty of time for me to make my 5:00 lesson.
In the evening, we went over to Ice Park, had our usual frozen yogurt, and just sat there for a while, enjoying the atmosphere.
