I got up nice and early this morning and got in a good walk, a good work-out at the gym, and good stretches on the way back.
I taught only 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-10:30, 12:00-1:30 (which turned actually to be a no-show due to the student's computer crashing), and 3:30-5:00.
We ate lunch at Chooka at Ice Park today. I had vegetarian sushi, and David had noodles with vegetables. He had to go to the bathroom before we were finished eating, and he insisted on going by himself. Unfortunately, he missed the doors to go back to the restrooms and ended up walking all the way around the mall. By the time he got back to me, I was finished eating, and so I then escorted him to the facilities. I can't quite say that all was well, but let's just say that there was no major disaster.
After my last class, we went back over to Ice Park for our now-traditional frozen yogurt. After that we drove up to Samar and back before returning home. We listened to E. Power Biggs playing Bach organ music, but on the pedal harpsichord instead of the organ. This is from an LP that I bought many, many years ago (obviously!) and digitized recently. The music works amazingly well on such a different instrument from its original target.
