Shabbat, 18 January 2014

I got up early this morning, walked to the gym, went on the cross-trainer for a bit, and walked back home.

This morning, I helped David use his Braille writer to "type" the Braille alphabet so that he can review it. In the process, I also learned how to operate the Braille writer myself.

I watched the rest of the videos for week 3 of my class "Write Like Mozart" and also did the (very easy) homework assignment.

We ordered lunch delivered from Barbis today: soyaburgers.

We talked briefly with David's sister in Ohio this afternoon. She and her husband are actually away from their home, visiting some of his high school classmates.

Just before sunset, we drove up the Arava as far as Kibbutz Ktura and then turned around and came back. We drove directly to Ice Park, where we had frozen yogurt and walked one time around the mall.

I spent most of the rest of the day working on my harmonization program. It now seems to produce really nice results, so I'm quite happy with it!
