I woke up early, got up, walked to the gym, had a good work-out, and walked home. It was great!
I did a lot more work on my ChucK harmonizer program. Now it can accept strings of characters for the given melody and bass notes, making input quite a bit easier. This turned out to be quite a bit more difficult for me to do in ChucK that I thought it should be.
In the middle of the day, we drove down and visited the Undersea Observatory Park. In the early morning, David had been able to see quite well, but by the time we got to the park, he had almost no vision. Nevertheless, we were able to take the elevator down to the undersea observatory, and he could barely see some of the fish. Afterwards, I walked around the park a bit while David rested, and then we ate lunch at the restaurant directly above the observatory (out a short distance from the shore). The food was quite good and not very expensive, but the service was very slow.
We talked with David's sister in Ohio and found out that she is once again in the hospital. She's feeling quite a bit better now, though, and expects to get out tomorrow.
Finally, we drove down to ice park for frozen yogurt and a walk around the mall. David was only able to make it around once.
