I managed to get up early enough this morning for a walk to the highway 12 kikar and back.
We went to the WIZO meeting this morning, where we enjoyed talking with several people and watching an interesting presentation on the history of vaudeville.
After the meeting, we drove down to Ice Park for lunch at Café Café. David had Italian shakshuka, and I had a small Greek-style sandwich. Afterwards, we walked once around the mall for exercise.
A social worker came over today just before my 2:30 lesson. She comes from a program that is trying to set up activities for people with serious disabilities that will allow them to meet each other and to do interesting things together. It is expected to start in about 1 month, and we hope that David will be able to participate in it.
I taught 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 2:30-4:00 and 7:00-8:30.
After 4:00, we drove back down to Ice Park for frozen yogurt and another walk around the mall.
I made some additional small modifications to my ChucK classical-style harmonization program today. Mostly, I was working on making it easy to enter data for different pieces I might want to harmonize.
