I ate breakfast slightly earlier than usual this morning and then headed down to Maccabi for a blood test. I have a 2nd appointment with the urologist on Tuesday, so I needed to get this 2nd PSA test so that he'll be able to compare it to the earlier one, which was above normal.
The phlebotomist told me that I should have a blood pressure reading and my weight on my records annually (and didn't), so I went over to the nurses' office afterwards and got that done. My blood pressure was 127/78 (if I'm remembering correctly), and my weight was 89.0 kg (about 196 lbs.), which is good, because I know that I have been as high as 95 or 96 kg.
Next I walked a short distance down the street and found a plug for my kitchen sink. Now when I do dishes I'll be able to immerse them in soapy water for a better job.
I took a more circuitous walk home, just to increase the amount of walking.
For lunch, I sliced the remaining small challah, put mayonnaise on one side, then added a couple of vegeburger patties, and finished with some ketchup. Does this count as fusion cuisine? In any case, it tasted good to me.
Later in the afternoon, I made 2 short grocery shopping trips, one to each of the 2 nearby markets. I splurged a bit on some special nuts and dried fruits for Tu B'Shvat (which began at sunset this evening). I also bought a dozen eggs to allow me additional options for my meals in the coming days.
Other than that, I was pretty much lazy today.
I walked a total of 6.13 kilometers today.
