I got up very early this morning and enjoyed another great walk around the big loop, even extending slightly in a couple of places. I took a number of pictures. The last one is today's pic of the day, a view of the sun just coming up over the Jordanian mountains:

I was pretty lazy during the morning, just relaxing and enjoying Shabbat.

I had my regular eggs and rice for lunch, plus a big salad.

In the afternoon, I did a little work on my orchestral music. First, I made some adjustments to eliminate the distortion near the end of my Hatikva Variations. Then, I went back and listened to the previous pieces I had done. Several of them also have distortion, but I didn't try to fix it today. Overall, the project is coming along pretty well.

In the late afternoon, I had my weekly conversation via Skype with David's sister in Ohio.

I walked a total of 6.54 kilometers today.
