I got up at 4:30 this morning and was out walking by 5:00. To read more about my wonderful walk into the hills, beginning in moonlight, and to see the photos I took, check out my post in my older blog by

I was fairly lazy for most of the morning, but I decided to go to Ice Mall for lunch, mostly just to get out and about among people. While I was there, I also ate lunch at Landwer Café, the first time I've eaten out in quite some time. I had one of my favorites, their buckwheat and orange vegetables stir-fry, which also includes tofu and mushrooms. Delicious! My pic of the day for today is a short video clip of the little rollercoaster there, which is NOT for me!
From Ice Mall, I took a bus on over to the big Shufersal, where I hadn't been in months. They've done a lot of remodeling and rearranging there, and they're still not finished. At first, I was feeling bad that I can't easily shop there anymore, but when I got to the part where they're still moving things around, I was instead glad that I don't HAVE to! I only bought one small item. Then I took the bus back home, a trip that took nearly 40 minutes.
A little later I did my main grocery shopping at the local Elimelech Supermarket, filling two reusable shopping bags (Shufersal bags, ironically).
I walked a total of 8.77 kilometers today.
