Today's pic of the day is a pic of Eilat and Aqaba that I took yesterday from the plane as we circled over the Gulf before our final approach:

I got up early this morning and went out for a walk, but I returned rather early. I had a small sore on my left foot that had been caused by friction with my flip-flop. I put a band-aid (plaster, for you Brits!) over it, but it wasn't staying on. Later, after my shower, I put a different one on, and it held the rest of the day. Perhaps it was because my foot was clean, or maybe it's just a better-quality band-aid.

I rode the bus over to WIZO this morning and enjoyed the meeting very much. We had a small number of people today (quite normal for the summer), and so each of us had an opportunity to tell a story or 2 about summers during our childhood. We all had a wonderful time with this!

After the meeting, I walked with Isobel over to one of the local markets and then rode home with her in a taxi. She invited me in for a cool drink, and I ended up staying and chatting for about an hour.

I had a salad, some crackers, and cashews for lunch at home today.

I taught 4 units of Berlitz lessons today (although only one student showed up for the last class, and he had to leave after the first unit for a dental appointment): 4:00-5:30 and 7:00-8:30.

Between classes, I made a trip to Elimelech Supermarket and bought quite a few things. Luckily, I had taken BOTH of my reusable shopping bags because I pretty much filled them.

I walked a total of 3.23 kilometers today.
