Friday, 26 August 2016

After I got up to pee around midnight last night I had trouble getting back to sleep, and so I ended up getting up late this morning. I only walked up to the bakery to buy challah before breakfast.

I taught 4 units of Berlitz lessons today: 10:00-11:30 and 11:30-1:00.

I had a salad, weenies wrapped in tortillas, and breadsticks for lunch at home today.

After lunch, I did the dishes, took a short nap in my chair, and then did the programming assignment for this week in my online class, Classification and Retrieval.

I finished the programming work just before it was time to light candles, drink some sweet red wine, and eat some challah to welcome Shabbat. Today's pic of the day is of my lit Shabbat candles:

I walked only 0.87 kilometers (870 meters) today: tto buy challah, and to do the recycling.

I leave you with these words from Psalm 34:
מי-האיש החפץ חיים אהב ימים לרואות טוב
נצר לשונך מרע ושפתיך מדבר מרמה
Who is the one who values life and loves days of seeing good?
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.
