Even though I went to bed quite late last night, I got up fairly early this morning and walked all the way around the big loop, taking a few photos as I went. Today's pic of the day is the view up the beautiful Nakhal Shakhamon with Harim Road in the foreground:
In the morning, I managed to get a little work done on my orchestral music. I ported my organ arrangement of Salomono Rossi's "Ein Keloheinu" over to orchestra. It was originally written for 2 antiphonal choirs. In my new arrangement, the parts of one choir are given to the brass and the other to the woodwinds. I'll still need to do a little editing on it, but it already sounds quite wonderful.
I talked to my friend in Tel Aviv around noon for about an hour. It was very enjoyable.
I had my usual eggs and rice for lunch today.
In the late afternoon, I talked with David's sister, Joyce, in Ohio. She was finally released from the hospital yesterday evening. She's feeling better, of course, but will still need oxygen at night.
I walked a total of 6.15 kilometers today, all on my morning walk, of course.
