Since I got to bed late last night, I also got up late this morning. I still went out for a walk, though, just a shorter one. I took several pics, including today's pic of the day, the sunrise over the Jordanian mountains:
I taught only 3 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-9:45 and 4:30-6:00.
After my first lesson, I set to work watching the videos for week 6 of my classification course, and I finished all of them, as well as the quiz based on them. Now I just have to do the programming exercises and take the quiz related to them.
Around noon, I got a call from the optician's office. They had forgotten to measure my frames, so I needed to go over so they could do that.
While I was over in that neighborhood, I ran into a couple of my WIZO friends who were eating outside a café. I sat down and chatted with them for quite a while. Even though we were outside in the middle of a hot Eilat summer day, we were in the shade, and there was a nice breeze, so it was actually quite comfortable. This is part of what I LOVE about Eilat!
I then returned home and had a salad and quesadillas for lunch.
I talked twice today at some length with my friend in Tel Aviv, and I really enjoyed it!
I walked a total of 4.62 kilometers today.
