Shabbat, 20 August 2016

I got up early this morning, but I went on a different loop that was approximately the same length, overall, as the big loop. I took quite a few pictures, including today's pic of the day, a view of the Gulf and Aqaba well before the sun came up:

I spent much of the day working on my orchestral music, mostly listening, but also touching up several things. It's very close to finished now, but I'll still need to listen carefully and see if I can make a few changes here and there to improve and polish it.

I had my now-traditional eggs and rice for lunch today. I again added some sunflower seeds to the mix. I also ate a nice salad and a few cookies.

In the afternoon, I talked with David's sister, Joyce. She's in the hospital again because her transplanted kidney has failed. After they finish checking her out thoroughly, they'll release her, but she'll have to go back on dialysis, unfortunately.

In the early evening, after the sun was gone but before it got dark, I went out for a short walk in Canada Gardens. I didn't stay out very long because it was still pretty hot out.

I walked a total of 7.56 kilometers today.
