Then we drove up to the top of the Baha'i Gardens. The gardens, of course, are beautiful, but so are the breathtaking views from up there. We took lots of pictures, a few of which I have posted on Facebook.
From there we continued through Haifa and on to the Druze town, Dalyat Al-Carmel. Because of the Eid Al-Adha holiday, which both the Muslims and the Druze celebrate, nearly all the shops were closed. But the guy at one of the few ones that were open was very friendly and helpful, and Hannah was able to get a lot of pretty things for very little money.
We proceeded from there to Yokne'am, where we ate lunch at Greg Café in a mall before heading on up to Tsfat.
We are absolutely delighted with the Safed Inn, where we will be staying for the next three nights!
I walked a total of 4.6 kilometers today.
