I slept well last night but woke up too early this morning.
After breakfast, we drove down to the birdwatching area (next to the border crossing to Jordan). There weren't a lot of birds, but it was a pleasant place to spend some time in the warm sun and the cool breeze. We even saw 4 small planes doing acrobatics in formation over Jordan!
After that, we drove around the short loop, but we took a detour out to Shakharut. I parked the car by the side of the road near the houses (leaving David in it) and walked a short distance to the edge of the cliff. From there, I had a great view of the Arava, including parts of Yotvata and Grofit.
When we got back to town, we headed straight over to Ice Park and had lunch at Greg café. I tried their creamed baked potato, which was good, and David had their soup of the day, yam soup, which was also great.
Back at home again, David took a nice, long nap, and I watched the video lessons for week 5 of my Introduction to Music Production class. They were especially interesting this week, and I think I may even be able to use some of the delay effects to improve my music.
Later we talked for some time with David's sister and her husband in Ohio, and then we went out for a walk in the pleasant evening. The weather is just about perfect here now: dry, with a high around 34˚C (about 93˚F) and a low of about 23˚C (73˚F).
