5 March 2013

I woke up a bit tired this morning although I had slept quite well.

I didn't have any classes this morning, so I used the time to get several other things done. For one, I finished editing and submitted my assignment for the first week of my Introduction to Music Production class. Next week, it will be evaluated by 4 of my classmates, and I, in turn, will have to evaluate 4 of their assignments.

David & I drove up highway 12 twice today, once before we headed to lunch at Greg (in the middle of the day, of course) and the second time this evening after my last class. The Eilat Mountains are so beautiful! Also, on most nights (like tonight) it's clear enough that one can see the lights of Haql, Saudia Arabia, along the other side of the gulf south of Jordan.

I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 2:00-3:30, 4:00-5:30, and 5:30-7:00.

Today, we received a letter from the eye doctor who will examine David in order for him to get his תעודת עיוור t'udat iver (certificate of blindness). I have to call them (during their highly irregular office hours, which were included in the letter) and schedule an appointment for him. I plan to do that tomorrow. I hope we can schedule it for not too far in the future.
