The feast at Buddha Burgers last night was very nice. Unfortunately, David was feeling tired and very sleepy, and he had a headache. So he wasn't able to enjoy things very much. We left a bit early, but they sent LOTS of food home with us, which was very nice of them, I think. This morning I wrote a short e-mail (in Hebrew) to the proprietors (Miri and Arnon), thanking them and their staff for all their hard work in creating such a lovely event.
I had some trouble getting to sleep last night, but I eventually slept quite well. I woke up too early, though. At about 5:15, I finally got up and went out for a morning walk, going as far as the highway 12 kikar. It was nice to be able to do that.
I double-checked all my homework/quiz answers for unit 3 of Algorithmic Thinking this morning, and then I submitted it. I was very happy to get 100% on my first try! I spent much of the rest of the day working on the project for this unit, which involves some pretty difficult programming. We have pseudo-code to go from, but the translation is not so straightforward, and it's been really stretching my abstract thinking capabilities (I guess my mathematical ability isn't quite as good as it used to be, alas!). Nevertheless, I'm making good progress. Tomorrow I've got to more thoroughly test the code I've written so far, and then I can proceed to write the rest of it.
For lunch today, we ate some of the delicious food that they sent home with us last night. Yum!
