I was awake for a while in the night last night and got up quite late this morning. But I felt very rested and refreshed.
I taught only 5 units of Berlitz lessons today: 10:00-10:45, 3:00-4:30, and 5:00-6:30.
After my first lesson, I walked to the bank, waited an hour, withdrew some money, walked over to Bassia & David's current place (they'll be my new housemates in a couple of weeks), walked up to the new apartment (that we'll be sharing), measured my room, and walked home in time for my second lesson.
In the evening, I paid my landlord the back rent that I owed him, and I also paid the va'ad fees (for maintenance of the common areas in the building) for the last 6 months. I'm very happy that I've been able to pay these unauthorized debts which I SHOULD have been paying on time. For me, this is an important part of getting back on track and moving forward in my life.
In the evening, I also made a scale map of my room in the new apartment and scale cut-outs of my bed, my desk, and my cabinets, so that I can see how they can all fit in the new place.
I walked a total of 9.76 kilometers today.
