I got up early enough this morning to get in my usual full morning walk. For the first time this season, I actually wore jeans instead of short pants. I also wore a light flannel shirt, although I unbuttoned it fairly early into the walk and even removed it entirely on the last leg (walking down my street).
This morning, I showed my car to a woman from Kibbutz Lotan, an American originally from New Jersey, who was very impressed with it and has decided to buy it! The exact day of the transaction still has to be worked out, but it should all happen within the next week.
I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 10:30-12:00, 12:00-1:30, and 6:30-8:00.
I ate lunch at home and then took a long walk down to the bottom of Shakhamon (my neighborhood, which actually constitutes about half of the City of Eilat, really), just above the port, and then up the far south side, next to Nakhal Garuf. There is a HUGE amount of construction going on in that area, including both apartment buildings and some very lovely villas (which is what they call single family homes here in Israel).
I walked a total of 11.36 kilometers today.
