I woke up in the night last night and had trouble getting back to sleep. As a result, I got up quite late this morning.

I actually took a nap in my chair after breakfast, but I still managed to buy challah and get the weekly chores done before my lesson at noon.

I taught only one 2-unit Berlitz lesson today: 12:00-1:30.

I had a salad and quesadillas for lunch today.

In the afternoon, I talked on the phone to my friend, David, in Tel Aviv for quite a while. With both enjoy talking to each other and have many similar interests.

I lit candles as usual, drank a little sweet red wine, and ate some challah to welcome Shabbat this evening.

Afterwards, I went out for a long walk around the big loop but extended in several places. I took quite a few pictures, especially sunset pics, including today's pic of the day:

I walked a total of 7.2 kilometers today.
