I got up quite early this morning and ate breakfast early, too. After checking the Maccabi website and seeing that the forms for my appointments tomorrow (with the surgeon and the anesthesiologist) were still awaiting approval, I headed down to the Maccabi office. I got everything approved while there and got the forms I need (to prove that Maccabi, my health fund, will pay the hospital, a government institution, for my visits).
On the way to Maccabi, I shot today's pic of the day, a bed of pretty flowers:
From Maccabi, I walked directly up to WIZO House for today's English speakers' meeting. After our usual hour of socializing and the weekly announcements, we began talking about today's topic of the day (selected by yours truly): stories of winter from our childhoods. We got plenty of participation, and I think everyone had a good time.
Before heading home, I did a little shopping at Shufersal, but I only bought a couple of small items.
I had a salad and quesadillas for lunch.
After lunch, I took a short nap in my chair, and then I talked for some time with David in Tel Aviv. Tomorrow, we'll have lunch together after my appointments.
In the early evening, I watched about as much news on TV as I could stand. Since I don't usually watch TV, that wasn't very much. I'm doing it mostly (almost entirely) to improve my Hebrew, and I can understand at least generally what they're talking about most of the time.
I walked a total of 4.7 kilometers today.
