I slept well last night with nothing over me at all (and no heat needed in the apartment, either), and I got up early. I didn't go out for a walk, though, because I knew I'd be doing plenty of walking later in the day.
I started walking into town at about 8:15. The first stop was Maccabi, to have blood drawn (pre-surgery tests and my weekly check due to being on blood thinner). Then I walked across to the Maccabi Pharmacy to get my monthly prescriptions filled. From there, I headed for the Soleil Boutique Hotel for the monthly WIZO breakfast. I was very early, though, so I took my time and sat and rested for a while.
As always, the WIZO breakfast was really enjoyable. I think I took more advantage of the delicious foods available than I have before. Today's pic of the day was taken on my phone by our host, Armando, at the hotel:
After that, I walked back up to get a mouse for Goldfinger, and from there I headed home. I stopped and sat for quite a while talking on the phone with my friend, David, in Tel Aviv, which I enjoyed very much.
I took the afternoon pretty easy, napping for a while in my chair, and then getting ready for tomorrow's lessons (despite Pascal's continual interference, LOL).
In the evening, I walked down to Fay's house for our stimulating weekly play-reading group.
I walked a total of 9.7 kilometers today.
