After breakfast, I managed to get through to Ichilov Hospital and get them to e-mail the official forms about my appointments with the surgeon and the anesthesiologist (next Wednesday) so that I could print them and take them to Maccabi.
Then I walked into town to Maccabi with the forms and with the letter from the Ichilov urologist so that they can get me the form I need to take with me to prove that Maccabi will pay for the visits. On the way down, I took some pictures, including today's pic of the day: an oleander blossom backlit by the sun:
While I was at Maccabi, I also got my weekly blood test done and picked up the results from last week's x-ray.
After leaving there, I called and booked my flights for Wednesday, and then I talked to David in Tel Aviv for a while before picking up the mouse for Goldfinger and walking back home. On the way, I took some more pictures, including of a beautiful but small butterfly enjoying some white flowers.
I had 2 beets, a salad, and a vegetarian shnitzel for lunch.
After lunch, I took a bit of a nap in my chair, and then I went for a walk around the big loop, taking still more pictures.
In the evening, I walked down to Fay's house for our weekly play-reading group. We finished reading "The Importance of Being Earnest" and read another play called "The Strangest Kind of Romance".
I walked a total of 12 kilometers today.
