Thursday, 1 December 2016

I got up late this morning and so, of course, did not go out for a walk.

I taught 7 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:15-11:30, 12:00-1:30, and 5:30-7:00.

I had a salad (with half a yellow bell pepper, a cucumber, a tomato, and sunflower seeds added to the basic mix), 2 beets, and a large thin vegetarian shnitzel with ketchup for lunch.

After lunch, I went for a long walk around the big loop but with a couple of significant extensions. As I was walking along, I noticed that a dust storm was coming in from the west-southwest. Sure enough, a few minutes later, the wind got very strong, blowing sand and dust, and Aqaba became almost invisible. At least the sky remained blue, so this one was not as severe as some I'm seen here. I took several pictures during my walk, including today's pic of the day, an interesting bug sitting on some pretty rocks (before the dust storm):

I walked a total of 7.2 kilometers today.
