I slept quite well last night and got up fairly early this morning.
I ended up teaching 6 units of Berlitz lessons today, although I had only been scheduled for 4. During the morning lesson, I got a message asking if I'd like to do one at 4:30, and I accepted it: 9:30-11:00, 4:30-6:00, and 7:00-8:30.
After my morning lesson, I set out on a long, interesting walk. I went nearly to the end of Harim Road and then went on the dirt road that goes from the lower part of Ramat Yotam down to the quarry near Nakhal Shlomo. That is also the point in Nakhal Shlomo where the Camel Ranch is located.
After taking pictures of both the quarry and the ranch, I walked on down Nakhal Shlomo to the sea and then started walking north back toward town. Today's pic of the day is a view of the sea from the lower part of Nakhal Shlomo:
After walking most of the way, I felt tired and decided I had walked enough (more than 10 km), so I sat down at the bus stop by Dekel Beach and waited for the next bus. I only rode it one stop, to the mall.
I then treated myself to lunch at Café Café at the mall. I had a "Szechuan salad", a vegan dish that was absolutely scrumptious! I had never had it before, so I'm really glad I decided to try it.
After that, I walked over to another bus stop and waited to take the number 2 bus back home.
I walked a total of 11 kilometers today.
