Monday, 21 March 2016

I woke up and got up quite early this morning, feeling really great.

I taught only 6 units of Berlitz lesson today: 9:30-11:00, 5:00-6:30, and 6:30-8:00.

I did a load of laundry during my first class, and some of it is still drying on the rack in the corridor in front of my apartment.

After my first class, I took Goldfinger, my snake, out for a nice walk. First, we went over to Canada Gardens and sat for a while on my favorite bench in the shade there. He was quite content sitting on my lap. Then we went up to the outdoor gym. I didn't work out because I was holding him, but we sat there for a short time. After that, I walked over to Yahel Road and eventually wandered back homeward through the Tze'elim neighborhood. Mostly, Goldfinger seemed pretty content to just stay wrapped around my wrist, taking in the scenery. I must take him out more often like that.

I had veggie burger cheese sandwiches and a large salad for lunch at home today.

In the afternoon, I went for another, longer walk by myself, enjoying the beautiful weather.

In the evening, I chatted a little on Facebook with my Palestinian friend, whom I met during my last visit to the Assuta Hospital in Tel Aviv.

I walked a total of 5.8 kilometers today.
