Tuesday, 8 March 2016

I again woke up and got up quite early this morning, well-rested.

I had to eat breakfast slightly earlier than usual because I was required to fast after 7:30.

My appointment was at 11:30 at the local hospital for my CT scan (of my abdominal area). I arrived early, but, before they could do the actual scan, I had to drink 9 cups of their solution containing contrasting agent (probably mostly iodine), one every 15 minutes. So, they couldn't start the actual CT until about 2:00. During the scan, they were giving me more contrasting agent intravenously. Afterwards, I waited around for about half an hour to receive disks with the images. The complete results, however, will not be available for about 2 weeks, but I'll be able to view and print them online with a password they gave me.

I got back home a little after 3:00, leaving me plenty of time for tomato-and-cheese sandwiches for lunch before my one 2-unit Berlitz lesson, 4:00-5:30.

After the lesson, I took a walk around town a bit in the lovely evening air. I wore a t-shirt and wasn't too hot, but I probably could also have been very comfortable in a tank top.

I walked a total of 6.82 kilometers today.
