I woke up and got up early this morning but didn't go out for a walk.
After breakfast, I watched last night's services from BCC and also the discussion afterwards with a major from the IDF.
For lunch, I had a large salad with added tomato, and freshly-cooked basmati rice. Part of the rice I ate plain, and the rest I added to 3 scrambled eggs for a delicious omelet.
After lunch, I took a short nap, something I very rarely do. It was just right!
Then I talked to David's sister in Ohio for more than an hour, just chit-chatting and enjoying catching up.
In the early evening, I went for a long walk over to Shakhamon via Sheshet HaYamim Blvd. Then I walked up Ein Yahav, past where I used to live, and returned home via Harim Road. I had found that the problem with the earbuds I bought yesterday with due to the case, not the earbuds themselves. So, I switched back to my original case and listened to music throughout my entire walk: Korngold's gorgeous violin concerto, some piano music by Albéniz, Prokofiev's 6th piano sonata (very pianistic sonority), and John Rutter's Gloria.
A little later, I made took short walks to both of the local markets to buy a few items.
I walked a total of 7.79 kilometers today.
