Thursday, 3 March 2016

I got up a little late this morning but well-rested.

After breakfast, I called the Assuta Hospital in Tel Aviv and got an appointment for the isotope test a week from today. Then I called Arkia Airlines and ordered my flights up and back (which Maccabi, my HMO, will pay for). Arkia gave me an order number which I e-mailed to the local Maccabi office. All of this was done completely in Hebrew. The final task was to write to Berlitz about the need for a sick day. That, of course, I did in English!

In the late morning, I went for a walk in several of the areas north of where I live.

I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 12:00-1:30, 3:00-4:30, and 6:00-7:30.

I had a quarter of a large red bell pepper, 2 cheese-and-tomato sandwiches, and a delicious Moroccan cookie (drenched in honey) for lunch at home today.

After lunch, I made a quick shopping trips to both of the 2 nearest supermarkets.

Before my last lesson, I took another walk, stopping to work out a little at the gym and then continuing a short distance up Nakhal Shakhamon.

I walked a total of 7.58 kilometers today.
