I woke up and got up early this morning. I also ate breakfast early because I needed to head down to Maccabi for my blood tests (for which I did NOT need to be fasting). They never have any trouble finding a good vein on me (unlike on David, where it was always a nightmare for the poor person trying to draw blood or start an IV). This time, I saw the needle go in but didn't feel even a slight pain! Afterwards, I made the necessary arrangements at the Maccabi office for the test that I'll have to travel to Tel Aviv for. I still need to call the Assuta Hospital there to schedule the appointment, after which I'll call the airline to arrange the flights.
I taught 9 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:15-10:00, 11:30-1:00, 2:45-4:15, 4:30-6:00, and 6:00-7:30.
After my first class, I went out for a short walk and work-out at the gym. Along the way, I also happened to run into my friend, Isobel, who lives near me, and walked for a bit with her.
I had beans (mixed white beans in tomato sauce and brown beans in Mexican sauce) and little weenies, plus a big salad for lunch at home today.
I walked a total of 6.3 kilometers today.
