I again slept well and woke up at a good time. I also ate breakfast a little early.
After breakfast, I took out the trash and recycling, and I also walked up and bought challah.
I talk just one 3-unit lesson today: 10:00-12:15.
After that, I took a short walk up into the hills, taking a number of pictures along the way, including today's pic of the day, showing the subtle and beautiful colors of the desert hills on this mostly cloudy day:
After I returned from my walk, I continued work on today's fugue and also ate lunch (2 cheese and tomato sandwiches, a baked yam, and 2 baked potatoes).
Today's Fugue of the Day is based on an old ear worm of mine which, I'm sure, derives from some tune or other that I've heard (or maybe a combination of several). Anyway, you can listen to the resulting fugue here.
As the light faded from the valley, I lit candles, drank a little sweet red wine, and ate a little challah to welcome Shabbat. The rest of the evening, I just relaxed.
I walked a total of 4.2 kilometers today.
