I slept well last night and got up at a good time this morning.
After breakfast and my other morning rituals, I decided to take a walk around the big loop. It was a lovely day for it (t-shirt, jeans, and socks and shoes). I took quite a few pictures, including today's pic of the day, showing some lovely little flowers that were blooming along the Nakhal Garuf Promenade:
After my walk, I had just enough time to get a good start on today's fugue before my first lesson.
I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 11:45-1:15, 3:30-5:00, and 7:00-8:30.
Before lunch, I did some grocery shopping at the Elimelech Supermarket, much of which consisted of stocking up on fruits and vegetables.
I had a salad with cucumber, carrot, half of an orange bell pepper, a large tomato, some cooked beet, 2 cloves of garlic chopped into small pieces, salad dressing, and nuts for lunch. I also ate a little more of the cooked beet and 2 veggie burger and cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise and old-fashioned mustard.
After my afternoon class, I finished today's Fugue of the Day, which is based on the opening of the theme song for the Carousel of Progress which used to be located, many, many years ago, in Tomorrowland at Disneyland. You can listen to it here.
I walked a total of 5.9 kilometers today.
