At about 9:00, I started walking down the hill for the monthly WIZO brunch at the Soleil Boutique Hotel. It was very delicious and filling, and the conversation was also nice.
After that, I walked up to Hannah's, and then we walked down to Mercaz Big together. She really needed some new shoes, and we were finally able to find the right pair for her (in the 2nd shop we checked). After getting a couple of other things she wanted and resting a bit, we hit both of the health food stores in the area and then walked back to her place. On the way, I shot today's pic of the day, a view across the valley from the area between the 2 health food stores:
I rested briefly at Hannah's, and then I took a bus back home. It was a really nice day, thanks to the beautiful weather, the shopping, and the enjoyable company.
I spent much of the rest of the day completing my Fugue of the Day, whose subject is from the beginning of the old French folk song, "Sur le Pont d'Avignon". You can listen to the results here.
I walked a total of 8.1 kilometers today.
