Sunday, 14 January 2018

I got up quite late this morning, and started my day off quite leisurely.

Once I did get going, I set to work on my fugue. Later, I took a break to go up and get a few things at the Einat Center market.

I also got some work done relating to upcoming medical appointments in Tel Aviv and the necessary paperwork.

I only had a few nuts and some dried fruit for lunch.

Afterwards, I finished my Fugue of the Day, whose subject is based on "Let My People Go" in honor of the current Torah portions and of MLK's birthday. You can listen to it here.

While the washing machine did a load of laundry, I relaxed in my chair and even dozed off a bit.

After hanging up the clothes, I walked over to Hannah's just as the last light of day was illuminating Aqaba. I took some pictures of it, including today's pic of the day:

Then I walked with Hannah over to the ulpan to explore with her what the possibilities might be. The lady who is the director was very nice, and it looks like Hannah will be able to get the ulpan (intensive Hebrew learning) that she wants and needs.

From there, I walked over to Fay's for our weekly play-reading group. We finished the play we had started reading last time.

I walked a total of 4.6 kilometers today.
