I got up late this morning and so only walked up to buy challah (and some cookies) at the bakery before breakfast.

I was scheduled to teach 3 units of Berlitz lessons today, but the second lesson, 1 unit, turned out to be a no-show: 10:00-11:30 and 12:00-12:45.

I did the weekly household cleaning tasks today.

For lunch, I had corn on the cob, a tomato, a cucumber, quesadillas (cheese in tortillas), and 4 small cookies.

I lit candles, drank sweet red wine, and at a little challah a bit early this evening, and then I walked down to Fay's house, where I had been invited for Friday night dinner. I took several photos on my way down, just before the sun went off the Jordanian mountains. One of them is today's pic of the day:

I really enjoyed the dinner and, especially, the other people who were there at Fay's house.

Some other guests gave me a ride home, so I only walked a total of 2.95 kilometers today.
